My modeling didn't progress all that much over the past few years - kind of got busy with some odd jobs here and there, the MMO EVE-Online, studying Japanese more actively and some other stuff.
Now, tho, I feel it's time I got my head back into the modeling game. The tools have become more advanced, more fluid, more stable, easier to use. They provide better results for less work, and I am able to properly visualize and create what I see or imagine.
First to come under fire is a fellow EVE player's concept art; visible on his profile here on DeviantArt; [link]
I began modeling of his Caldari Corvette, the Locust, on the 10th of March. The results of this work is visible with occasional updates in my scrapbook until such a time as I have a completed and textured model of it and a basic environment to render it in for a basic final image to post to my gallery.
Hope you enjoy following the progress, and if you have any comments/critique/advice, please do post.

I'm not much of a pen'n'paper artist, and lack in just about any other creative field, but I strive to become a great CG artist someday.
I'm currently applying texture to what will be my first Deviation here, and by far my best "artwork" I've ever created.
But hey, art is about self expression isn't it? I've seen some great stuff here before and must say, some of you guys and gals are a bit wacked, but it makes yer all the more luvable ^_^
